The aim of the Association is to provide a club for small boat owners and to further the sport of small boat angling. It is the Association's policy to expand on the successful foundation built up over the years, which has provided an almost unique sense of comradeship.

• Monthly meetings are held at the Burnham Motor Boat & Sailing Club.

• Social events are enjoyed including BBQ's and a Christmas Social evening for the whole family.

• Regular fishing competitions are held throughout the year, out of Burnham On Sea as well as away days and weekends.

• Trophies are awarded annually at a 'Presentation Night'.

• Annual membership of the club currently costs £30.00 for Adults and £5.00 for Juniors.

Burnham Boat Owners, actively encourage the conservation of fish stocks, by setting high minimum fish sizes, which are far in excess of DEFRA minimum size limits.

Members have actively supported BASS the bass conservation group by lobbying Parliament for higher minimum fish sizes.

A catch and release policy is ensured for manycompetitions, ensuring that fish can be caught for another day, after detailed weights are kept.
